We’ve curated every HSCA spreadsheet and CQC ratings file since February 2017, giving us unparalleled access to historical data across the care sector. This dataset lets us compare any point in time and uncover trends.

Location Changes

Each month, we compare the latest CQC data to the previous month for every care home, identifying meaningful changes that could signal emerging trends or shifts in quality. We use a points system to measure the significance of each change.

Manager Timeline

A visual method of viewing the dates that managers were present in any location.

By presenting the data in this manner it shows when managers were present compared to the visit and reporting dates of the CQC.
You can also identify if a location was operating without a manager at any time and for how long.

We have now added a manager influence section that indicates which managers are most likely the cause or benefit of an inspection.

Manager Search

Where has this manager name appeared and how good a job did they do?

By entering any manager name you can see instantly any care home that the CQC states this person was a registered manager.
We show the ratings for the location and when the name appears and any other managers who were listed.

We also summarise if the person was an influence on the report. (1-6 1 being not at all)
